This is the list of Schedule II drugs as defined by the United StatesControlled Substances Act.^[1]The following findings are required for drugs to be placed in this schedule:^[2]

1. Drug Classifications, Schedule I, II, III, IV, V The FDA has been overseeing drugs in the US since the beginning of the 20th century. In 1970 the FDA released the following drug classifications, or drug schedules, under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
2. DEA Schedule Drug Information The DEA Sch. Drugs listed above are from the Top 200 list, and this is just a partial list of those Schedule Drugs. For the purpose of studying for the PTCB exam ™, please consult your particular program's requirements.

1. The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
2. The drug or other substance has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or a currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions.
3. Abuse of the drug or other substances may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence.
